• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Loose linkage on shift shaft (SE5) on RS & RT

While Vaughn was installing the sway bar :2excited: on the RS, he noticed the linkage on the shift shaft was loose. A couple weeks ago, he found the same thing on the RT..... Is there supposed to be some play in it???? of would this be something to be expected due to wear?

    Rear tire wear

We replaced the rear on the RT at 14,000 and the fronts at 22,000. At -10,000, the RS still has a ways to go. Seems the best way to reduce tire wear is to . . . . park it :yikes: and that's certainly NOT an option, is it? :roflblack: :roflblack:

    Marketing Fold-Ups

Our dealer gave us handfuls of them to distribute along with his business card. The Spyder creates such interest and a large percentage of inquiries are curious looky-loos so we have become selective about who we give them to (ie. if they say they plan to make a visit to the dealer.)...

oh yeah Vaughn usually tells people it's like riding a cutting horse that's on steroids; My explanation is it's like driving a sports car while setting on the roof.

Possible New Site Sponsor Soon ! (not really)

Most all of us can relate to that drenched feeling. Bet Holly was frozen!! We carry one Froggs suit on each Spyder. If we're ryding 2-up on the RT, the passenger wears the suit. Been there, done that! ;)

    2 Spyders/2 Odometers = Way off ???

Us too Thanks for the explanation Scotty. That makes sense. Vaughn and I have experienced that same type of mileage conflict between the RS & RT after fueling up at the same time and covering the same roads. I just assumed it was registering smiles instead of miles
