• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brp had test rides at the lakeshore for most of the spring. I took one, was a quiet day, got some extra time with them, and then went to the dealer and bought a RT. Went back a couple of weeks later with the RT and the guys showed me some pointers. As for official 3wheel training you'r out of...

    Factory tire pressure settings

Consensus of most RT ryders seems to be 18psi front, 28psi rear. Standard front shock to 5. From there you can start to change as you need but for most of us this seems right.

    2012 vs 2011 RT-S

We use Scalas, we use the TeamPro as we did not needed the miles between us, the ream pro works for 100ft so we can still talk from bike to somebody in the house. They clip or glue to your helmet, nothing used on the bike.

Trading In / Upgrading to RS or RT. Your Thoughts?

I'd say go for the 2011 RT, at present you have the option of model and colour. If you wait for the rebate/clearance sales you may not get what you want. My wife for years did not want to sit on a bike (she did when we were younger), is making up weekend tours all over the place, for us to go...

2011 spyder min. octane 87. Just wondering what others are using

My 2010 RT manual states recommended 91, but 87 and up can be used. Shell 91 octane is the only gas in my area that has not been corn feed, and I do notice a mileage decrease with corn feed fuel.

They were recommending it and showing/doing by example, they also told me that you can lift the front wheel for .5 of a second before the nanny kicks in. Millage may vary, A LOT leisurely ride 2 up for most of last weekend was getting over 43mpg. Yesterday, keeping up with a couple of friends in Porches, riding solo, may call it spirited riding, 26 MPG. Pushing that big window at 55+ :yikes: really hurts the fuel consumption, running corn-less...

TO LEAN OR NOT TO LEAN

I lean only in real fast corners, and my wife is not on the back. Lock sole to footpeg. Put inside knee against the fake tank to stabilize, if faster corner, move my butt over to the inside of the corner. Outside arm straight, inside arm, pull elbow into side. If going even faster lean over...
