• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Im a relative noob to this site and Spyders in general (14 months of ownership). I consider it a wealth of information, not found on the various Spyder facebook sites I frequent. I don't consider the complaints as hating but more of venting frustrations.

    My wife and I ride (her on occasion) and our combined weight is 330lb or so. No issues with bottoming out but if she rode more often, I would consider a Race Tech shock or Elkas.

    The Commander doesn't require an ECU upgrade. Its plug and play. Does not do anything with the clunk when starting off as that is mechanical in nature and the commander has to do with throttle lag.

    That would be the Base model F3. I own that same model and year. yes, it comes with the Ryker instrument panel. The 21 f3s and the 22 F3's come with with the more premium instrument panel

    I am also in Kali. My Geico insurance on my Spyder runs about $680 or so a year full coverage. It really depends on what zip code you live in, since they don't base it entirely on your driving but those around you as well.
