• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Shout Out to NAPA

I use Napa for all my thing's when I can, some things you have to go BRP. :( Some items, like my tractor, I use Napa bearings because John Deere likes using cheap parts that don't hold up. You have to think out of the box sometimes, and trust your gut!(y)

I need a GOOD replacement part! 2012 RT Rear Calliper Part #705600921 - anyone got a line on one?

That may be a valid concern!! Thank you! Even tho when I bleed the brakes it flows just fine, it may have a bad spot!

Clock Setting screen no longer works, any help appreciated!?

Ya, when I did the updates, I had the clock issue. You have to keep pushing the up or down arrow and watch the time on your screen; it will change at every push until it's right.

I need a GOOD replacement part! 2012 RT Rear Calliper Part #705600921 - anyone got a line on one?

I have tried all of that. To tell you the truth, when I backed off the adjustment shaft till it didn't drag and set the rest like I should, I thought that was the trick to make my nightmare go away; but guess what - it still happened again! I think when I used the clamp the way I did, that I...

Apple CarPlay - the good, the bad, and the really ugly

I feel your pain; I am going through the same type of thing with a brake caliper on a friend's bike! BRP is hard to deal with, it's a big, closed club they have going there, they don't want to talk to you and when the dealer talks to them it's about the same deal, slow to return emails, can't...

I need a GOOD replacement part! 2012 RT Rear Calliper Part #705600921 - anyone got a line on one?

Yup that's what is happening, and it locks up whenever it wants to and will release when it cools off. You may get 200 miles, or you may go 20 before it wants to go into one of its fits!

I need a GOOD replacement part! 2012 RT Rear Calliper Part #705600921 - anyone got a line on one?

Yup, but when you push it in don't use a clamp like they suggest in the book and use the parking brake shaft as a push point! Ask me how I know that now! That is very interesting, THANK YOU!!! All I got to do is find one of those!! What make and model use the brake and ebrake combo?

2024 RT Limited stalling at engine start when warm - anyone else experience this? Any ideas?

Well, if you have the base RT, you don't have the compressor, and you should be adjusting it with the Schraeder valve under the seat; if you have the RTL, then someone should be fixing it for you on BRP's dime! As far as what's going on with your stalling out, it could be a number of things...

Anyone have ceramic brake pads? Any experience with Traild ceramic pads?

If it makes you feel better, you could take that one back off and take the pads back out and carefully put something in there like a piece of wood so you don't pop a piston out all the way and exercise the cylinders and clean them well and pump them in and out a few times to make sure you don't...

Sticky turn signal switch on a 2021 RT Limited - any ideas/fixes?

x2 on WD-40, it shouldn't do any harm that I can think of, altho some will say it will attract dirt. If you're concerned about that, a dry lube will work! You say it's sticking, do you mean it sticks to the point of having to tap it to get it to stop; or is it staying over to the left and you...

Anyone have a better version of Saddle bag latches?

I myself, say that's the most easy, foolproof way to lock your bags that you could have! No cables to stretch out and handles to break off, pretty easy peasie! Do they lock when you take the key out, so you cannot turn that knob with your hand? I would just keep lubing them up and use what you got!!

Anyone have instructions on how to replace Brake Pressure Switch on a 2011 Spyder RT?

Did you try to put some contact cleaner and wd 40 on the switch to see if that would clean and lube the old one?

Does using a cat delete help with seat heat?

If you think the seats getting too much heat from, below, get some of the heatshield mat guy's use on car fire walls and floor boards when your doing a resto! It's thin and has a sticky backer and will reflect the heat back down and keep it maybe cooler than it is now!

Did something change? Now need a magnifying glass to read this Font size, even on extra large font - what am I missing?

And most of all, as we age as much as some of us want to believe we still have 20/20 vision, a trip to the eye doctors may be the best thing!!!! 🙃 🙃 🙃 🙃
