• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Finally, I fixed the Seat release on my RT! Video

Glad yours still works great. I have the button for the frunk, but I reckon that is all. I can not recall seeing any sort of electric gadget near the frunk latch. Is it just a solenoid magnet that pulls the cable ?

Need a Seat Strut with more lift - any suggestions?

The strut is not holding up the seat and I have taken it out to measure length and possibly find part number on it. I could find some info printed on the original strut so I took it with me to a shop that have lots of types of struts. The only thing preventing me from buying a new one was that...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

First little test ride after hybernation. First ride of the season yesterday. Everything worked fine and the weather was sunny for once. I just took a short round to do some shopping and stop by a buddy to say hi. Took the scenery route back home and it started to snow a little darn it, so was...

How much clutch slippage, if any, is normal

On my 2012 RT SE5 I have never had any slippage. I have a friend of mine who has been a biker "all his life" (Enduro & road racing) He says that a clutch should never slip if it is ok. He helped me do my first oil and brake fluid changes and stated how important it was to use the correct oil on...

Is it normal for the Belt to travel across the rear sprocket?

I made a recording on the belt movement for an earlier thread of mine as I had the same questions. People on this great forum assured me all was normal. :2thumbs: Here's a link: https://arnesastrobilder.blogspot.com/2024/03/belt-movement-rt-2012.html
