• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Installd 3rd & 4th Brake Light today

I purchased the "flasher" with mine and have it set to strobe 6 times before steady state. It really gets the drivers attention behind me. I agree you can not have too many lights for visibility. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    STILL RIDING ??

I officially "winterized" the Spyder on Sunday. Weather here in Michigan is unpredictable until spring. Besides I have to travel 1.5 miles to get onto pavement, so even if it is nice the back roads are greasy. :( Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Body Forcing Decisisions

Sorry to hear about your knee. I'm a diabetic and starting to have problems with my feet. My wife has had 4 knee replacements and now she doesn't even need to get off the Spyder when I stop. Like most of you rode 2 wheelers for 46 years and it was time this to make the switch. I do not regret...

interesting 7 minutes if you like trains

I worked on a system like this over 30 years ago up in Maine. The difference was the old rails were peered out and the new ones laid down by one work train at 4 miles an hour for Amtrak. It is fascinating Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Looks like I'm the proud owner..

I was recently have a "Brake Failure" message on the display as well as "brake fluid low" warning. I stopped and bought some DOT 4 fluid and when I checked the levels, the rear was low. It also looked like it was leaking around the filler caps because the top of the resivour was wet. Messages...

Ok, so on the way into work this morning the "low brake fluid" warning flashes on the screen, and then the brake failure message. I suspect the fluid is low. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Brake Failure Message

The last 6-8 times I went to start my Spyder I got a "Brake Failure" message and could not release the parking brake. Turned it off, waited a few seconds and restarted and it was OK. Any ideas as to why the message comes on? Do I need to return to the dealer to have it looked at. I have 5k...

    RIVCO Trunk Mounted Flag Holder

I have the TricLED lights that mount in the gap below the truck lid. Is there and issues with clearance to the lights from the brackets. I know they may cover a few but I am worried about pinching or pushing the brackets out to the point the trunk lid interferes. Has anyone installed the Rivco...

One of the first things I purchased and installed was the 3rd brake Iight with the strobe flasher (6 seconds strobe and then solid. It may just be me but drivers behind me seem to stay back a bit further after seeing it come on. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    two wheel on top

That's one of the reasons I traded in my Kawasaki Voyager this year for my RT Ltd. last fall after parking the Voyager the kick stand folded under while getting off and I tried to hold it up. Screwed up my right shoulder and it is still not good. Besides that my wife has had 4 knee replacements...

    Nice, friendly folks...

A couple years ago on my way back from the 911 run in NYC I stopped at the toll booth to pay and there was a fellow motorcyclist ahead of me who was pulling off into the office. I asked the toll booth operator if she knew what was wrong and she said he didn't have any money to pay the toll. I...

    Stopped by Sheriff Deputy

This morning on my ride into work I was pulled over by a Deputy for having too many headlights. I told him other than the two LED light strips (on the A frame arms) the rest were factory installed. Legal limit is 4, not sure if he considered the fender tip lights as running light or head lights...
