• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cat delete, is it worth the money

You should look into the turbocharger. I don't know if they are still available. But that makes a fair amount of difference.

    'The Lamonster Chronicles'

No, this is a different 'Doc'. Doc Humphries came along later. I'm sorry, I cannot remember Doc's last name. He was a specialized surgeon in Florida, if I remember correctly. I haven't heard from him in years. But he and Forrest used to be big celebrities in the Spyder community in those early...

    'The Lamonster Chronicles'

Yes, Doc got involved with BMW who was, at the time, experimenting with the reverse trike market. I believe that Doc was riding one of their GG Taurus prototypes. But they were going to be very expensive. I think in the $80k range if I remember correctly. Doc also shepherded Forrest around in...

#8 - Wires to the Badlands! (Part-1) Early on, maybe 2008 or 2009, Lamont decided to go to the ‘3 Wheel Sturgis’ event in Deadwood. At the time my Spyder was starting to miss. We put a lot of miles on in those early days. I changed out the old school; fat copper electrode spark plugs it came...

Can Am Spyders Resale value isn't great...

Lamont & I paid about $15k for our 2008 GS Spyders out the door. That pricing didn't last long though...

Can Am Spyders Resale value isn't great...

Yes, I can see that this rule of thumb isn't going to apply everywhere. Here in Tennessee we always have a good number of customer's Spyders for service. Some waiting to get worked on, some waiting for customers to come get them. In the spring, we get a great deal of inquiries to purchase them...

Those BBQ days were special. Does anyone remember Doc and Forrest? The dynamic duel. Those were very special days. Good times!

Can Am Spyders Resale value isn't great...

Prices are always down this time of year. Sell in the spring, buy in the winter.

Thank you for the well wishes! While our politicians might not be happy with our Northern neighbors. It's good to know that we can still count all of you as friends!

Love the concept. Not sure I would be able to handle the weight.

Can You See Me Now? New lights fitted.

Ride like they are trying to kill you on purpose. Harsh, but it works really well. Because whether they mean to or not, it will leave the same mark on your body.

How can you tell when it is time to replace front shocks?

There are a good number of options out there. It's hard to know which way to go because there is no reasonable way to try before you buy. But with 14K on your current shocks, they should still be in good condition. If they are KYB's, they should have spring preload adjusters built in.

#7 - Lamont... Always true to form. Above all, as long as I’ve known Lamont, he has been a fabricator. He always looks at things thinking, ‘How can I make that better?’ I would say that he always had the skill of an entrepreneur as well, though that developed later on. He had an eye for what...

Who has the factory adjustment data for a 2025 Spyder RT belt adjustment in mm?

You might want to try adjusting the belt location to get that credit card gap at the rear. But you should also check your belt tension because belt adjustment will affect tension as well.

Who has the factory adjustment data for a 2025 Spyder RT belt adjustment in mm?

The belt gap remains the same. A credit card is a good gauge. It doesn't need to be exact. Where is your belt running on the rear pulley?

Has anyone had their parking brake motor replaced? Finally resolved?

It's one thing when the machine is a headache. It's quite another when it's the dealer creating the pain. But I suppose you get rid of both if you sell it. It's a shame because the Spyder has potential to be a fantastic experience.
