• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ODOMETER GONE MISSING on my 2024 SPYDER!

Mine shows the total odometer in the same spot you are showing Trip A time. Looks like you need to dig deeper in the set up. OK I figured it out. Press your finger on the "A" 3.5 for three full seconds. It will change. Keep doing that until you see total ODO.

Anti-Theft Locking License Plate Fasteners, which are best?

Alabama went to a system that prints the license plate number on the sticker when they issue it, so it is very easy to see if they match or not.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Finally hit the 600 mile mark in my RTL today, break-in is over. In the previous day I installed the Show Chrome trunk lights, the Garmin Zumo XT2 and the foam hand grips. Now I am ready to hit the road with a long road trip.

Speakers are not working - what am I missing?

You might want to check the right fuse box fuse #3 at the top. It is a 15 amp fuse for the amplifier. Could be why you hear nothing from the speakers.

Speakers are not working - what am I missing?

I found on my 24 RTL that when I paired up my BT headset the sound was coming out of the speakers. Someone on here posted that there is a setting to select where you want the sound to go, headset or speakers. I switched it to headset and the speakers were silent. Sounds like you need to set...

    Little River Canyon Ride

The wife and I got out yesterday for her first long (2 hour) ride in two years. Made the loop up through Tennessee on 231 to 64 thru Huntland and down TN 97 to AL 65, then 72 and back up to Hazel Green. We will likely head over to Little River after the next cold snap passes through. Have not...

I updated OTA software/firmware on my 2024 S2S - anyone else seen the back-up camera option?

Yes that is the Afterburner tail light adapter that I already had on the bike so I tapped into it when I build my harness for the Bushtec trailer. What you are looking at is what you see when you pull the entire rear tail light panel. It was the best picture I had of the three pin plug that...

My Pedalbox Pro arrived; is installed & set up - just need riding weather to try it out!,

If you photo is small enough it will appear in a box after you select it from "attach files" then you will see "inset" when you select that you can choose "thumbnail" as an option. If the box does not show you the photo then it is too big, you will have to reduce the size to around 250 -500 KB.

Can anyone recommend a TPMS system other than FOBO?

None of the external units are recommended for rubber stems, however it is due to stem failure on older stems. Some people never change their valve stems, so it is a liability for the manufacturer. They also offer a system with internal sensors.

How do we add rider map to our Signature block?

I use this one: Make it, save it, then edit your signature, and insert the picture. https://www.epgsoft.com/visited-states-map/app/visited-united-states-map.html

I updated OTA software/firmware on my 2024 S2S - anyone else seen the back-up camera option?

I found this connector on my 2024 that is not on other 2024 RTL's in installation videos for lighting adapters, so it may be the camera plug, no coax though.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

The Show Chrome fuse block will easily meet your needs. It will plug in to the main connector under the seat to get the turn, running and brake light signals. Then power it from the battery and run your trailer harness from the fuse block. In retrospect I should have just gone that way myself...

Do I just keep pumping with Speed Bleeders until the line fills up?

My experience with Speed Bleeders is not good. They have a coating on the threads to help seal against fluid leakage while bleeding and I find it hard to tell when I have fully closed the bleeder. I do LIKE the bag and hose they sell for about $6. If you use the stock bleeders with this hose...

How I connected my 2024 RTL to a Bushtec Trailer with independent Tail, Brake and Turn signals

The purpose of this post is to document my solution to using a Bushtec Trailer with separate turn signals, tail lights and brake lights with a Can Am Spyder RTL 2024. There are a few plug and play harnesses that are available but most just provide a 4 pin solution. I wanted the separate turn...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Poppie65 I looked at the Lamonster harness you pointed out. It does tap into the Spyder's 12 Volt line for trailer harnesses and has an isolator so it would not add any load to your lighting circuits. It is a little easier and cheaper than what I did with the Bushtec isolator and my own...

Anyone else having trouble getting their 2024 Display to recognize their headset?

I am using an older SLR 2 in my Shoei NeoTechs and it runs BT4.1 and I have no issues with my 24 RTL.

Is this much Oil usage normal?

He stated he checks oil at gas stops, but does he actually let the bike idle for 10 minutes before checking the oil? That is important to let the low pressure pumps return sump oil to the reservoir. Seems like that would be a long gas stop. Just say'n.

What do you carry for Travel Snacks?

Back in my two wheeled days we used a Camelback in an insulated bag on the top case rack. Made a longer hose that hooked on the tank bag and we could both stay hydrated on our long trips. Not sure if I move that to the RTL yet but the Bushtec is coming over. I would get a fresh cup of ice at...
