• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Malfunction of the stock direction indicator lights blinking fast - any ideas/fixes?

You're about to hoist yourself on your own petard. You say you want to get the problem solved but you're willing to wait until the next dealer service. Huh??? Have you done as @Mrmikey suggests to see if all the turn signal bulbs are flashing correctly?

Catastrophic Damage at 2026 D3WR - any suggestions on transporters to ship an F3 home to NC?

Good thought, Ron. Thanks. Right now he's trying to get a reasonable shipping rate; most he's received are atrocious, possibly because of the size of a Spyder. Some companies allegedly double the price because of the extra space a Spyder takes in an enclosed transport trailer.

Catastrophic Damage at 2026 D3WR - any suggestions on transporters to ship an F3 home to NC?

I plowed this furrow when we were in Deadwood and also talked personally with the service departments at Rice's BRP dealerships in Spearfish and Rapid City. Both activities said it was a complicated, time consuming process that requires: "...extracting the 1330cc Rotax engine and completely...

If you were born before 1941, I’m chasing you, if not, it’s the other way around. OTOH, if we can remember what comes after Walla we’re still doing pretty good.

Catastrophic Damage at 2026 D3WR - any suggestions on transporters to ship an F3 home to NC?

My apology, I jumped ahead of my partner's current problem, one option in which was a possible attempt to purchase a new Spyder and trade in the F3 as is, so my old brain housing started thinking group buy. That's where iMotorsports comes in, not in service.

And today on the front page of The Wall Street Journal there were three pictures of a British, Betty Bromage, woman who was wing-walking a biplane at 97 years of age. She has done it six times since she turned 87.

If I lived where you do, based on what I've read here on SL I would try iMotorsports. They have some very good reviews.

What is the oil capacity of a 2026 S2S? Does it hold more than 5 Qts of oil?

If one looks at the part numbers for the Oil Tank Cover Assembly (item #37) for the 2014 RT through 2026 RT S2S, one will see they are exactly the same. The part number for Item #37 was changed between MY 2014 and MY 2015 but the same PN applies to all versions of the 1330 ACE engine including...

2026 Deadwood 3 Wheeler Rally Accomplishment

As my late mother-in-law, who died just short of her 101st birthday, used to say, "Growing old isn't for sissies." The more trips we make around the sun, the more speed bumps we encounter. I'm half way through my ninth decade and just riding along. The sign over the gym door says, "Every day...

What is the oil capacity of a 2026 S2S? Does it hold more than 5 Qts of oil?

Jetfixer, thanks for the trip down memory lane. I was one of the blokes who raised the questions about checking the oil level in the 1330 ACE engine and contacted BRP about the inconsistencies between the Operator's Guide and the real world with my new 2014 RT-S.

Catastrophic Damage at 2026 D3WR - any suggestions on transporters to ship an F3 home to NC?

That's exactly what I faced when I bought my Spyder intentionally at the end of MY 2014. The dealership less than 4 miles from my house with an excellenty service department wouldn't shave one thin dime off MSRP on the Spyder I wanted so I went 90+ miles to work with a deaership that wanted to...

Comparing how we ride our Spyders - what does your trip meter say??

The longer I've had the Spyder, the more comfortable I've become with the anticipated per tank mileage, and my fill-up numbers exceeding 6.0 gal are quite small. I still err on the side of caution, filling early if I don't know the territory.
