• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Run for the Wall

you don't have to do the entire ride...few do so you can join up at any of the "overnight stops," register and attend the early morning safety briefing, and ride as far as you wish, leaving whenever you wish. One year, I joined the ride about halfway, and rode from there to DC. As a "bonus,"...

I was lucky...stuck some fingers into the hole and felt around...found the two spade connectors and was able to pull them through the hold into the frunk (barely). I purchased the below socket, hooked up the connectors (brown-yellow stripe wire is + & goes on center terminal , black is - at...

    Run for the Wall

I did it in '09 on my FJR, but recent years I work as support that Monday when it passes through Jackson, MS. There, the Harley Shop closes to provide lunch and a forum for heros and reenactors to be present with a walking tour "Trail of Honor" behind the shop. Medal of Honor Recipients...

    LEDs

I'm new to Spyders, scared poopless that others, especially distracted drivers won't or can't see me, and will kill me. That said, the Black Friday Weekend sale by TriLED motivated me to purchase kits to replace all the reflectors on my 2014 RT Lim plus the 4 light brake light strips, the rear...

What is your plan when you win tonight's powerball?

for real, I'd "hire" my big bro the businessman as my money manager and have him conservatively invest the cash as untouched principal to only live/spend the interest/dividends. After that, the fun would begin including a big open invitation Nawlins' party.

    Horn Replacement

any electric (vibrating) horn would be just fine...Fiamms, PIAA'S, etc would all work and draws much less current than a air horn IMHO

    Horn Replacement

my stock horn (2014 RT) had two very thin, sandwiched together, flat metal straps for a mount. For the weight of the air horn, they are not adequate. Plus, you'll see when you test it, it really jerks around from the momentum of the impeller spinning around pushing the air out. as far as...

    Cal sci windshield

I had a CS Medium on my '04 FJR for over 100k mi and loved it. It had lower holes which eliminated buffeting but was controversial back then.

    Stebel Horn

all you need is a somewhat sturdy right angle bracket (Home Depot, Lowes). The horn is weighty (stock brackets too flimsy), so I added cable ties to support it. I believe the relay should be used to prevent the added current from damaging the very expensive stock horn button. There are...

it comes that way but can be changed to "always on" by moving a fuse in the spyder fusebox...that's what I did so might be worth checking (fuse in #6 is switched, fuse in #7 is always on)
