First of all, I have to say Kudos to RPM Cycles in Albemarle, NC. Their Spyder Tech knows his stuff! I got my RT back Friday from the 14,000 mile service. It's like a new machine!.
I had a brake failure light come on a couple weeks back, the pads in the back were shot... I ordered a set of Baja Ron's EBC pads, to R&R, hoping that at least the light would go out so I could get in Alzheimers ride in before the service... That wasn't the case
. Light never went out, and pedal went really soft, so I just decided to schedule the big service, and get everything done.
When I got her back, I just rode her home Friday, and that was it. We didn't get a chance to go for a real ride until yesterday afternoon, and boy, what a difference!!! Now, we've been taking her in for all servicing, except for the 4000 mile oil change, which I did myself, but this thing is a totally different machine now!!! I really don't know if the gradual decay caused me to notice the difference, or if it wasn't set up quite right from the dealer I bought from, but the difference was like day and night. Even the wife noticed while riding on the back. Extremely smooth acceleration, You can hardly notice the transmission shift now!! Before, you could hear it, and it seemed to just drop in gear and lurch, now when I hit the paddle, there is no noise, and no jolts, no nothing! You just hear the RPM's decrease, and keep going!!!
Excellent job, RPM!!!!
