Bought for father to ride, health is not progressing and is very difficult for him to get on and off for his mobility issues. Trying to run as often as weekly, but no longer need and am in process of first home purchasing in California (difficult). I will include all I have with it as well 2 helmets, a motorcycle jacket, and cover for average size . Clean title also in Hand no trades. Need it sold asap for fair value price.

Hi all, it's clear that some have difficulty with this part of the Forum, so here's some directions & guidelines that should help.

• Please use the appropriate prefix with your title, choosing from FS:, TRADE:, & WTB: Then briefly state what you have to sell/trade or want to buy in the thread title, using at least one full & recognisable 'word', not just a model designation.
• Please use plain Black Text in the text area of your posts (Bold &/or up to Size 18 is a good idea for your PRICE only, but just do this to the Price detail, please, so that it...

paying particular heed to:

• the need for regular posts from you, adding to the thread (& not just edits of the first post!) in order to keep the Ad alive;
• if you add any pics (and you really should, if you want to sell!), the need to insert no more than 6 images per post as thumbnails iaw the 'Please upload, attach, and insert any pics/images as Thumbnails' Sticky if you want everybody to be able to view them/your Ad, leaving at least a space or three between each image - having at least one pic in your opening post of the Ad/thread will mean that your Ad will have the first pic shown in your Ad's 1st post appear on the index page - which helps get viewers to look at what you've got/on offer; and posting an extra pic or two in new posts added to the Ad/thread regularly over the coming weeks will satisfy the first point above ;
• do not discuss prices, payment, payment methods, or negotiate at all on the public pages, use the Forum's DM facility to exchange contact details &/or conduct any/all negotiations; and
• the need to properly finalise the Ad by marking it Sold once you've finished with it, even if you haven't actually 'sold' anything, don't want to sell any more, or just don't need the Ad any longer!

You might get more views/interest if you add at least one pic to your first post; then maybe add another every now and then in the regular posts you need to put up to keep the Ad live (post at least monthly) - noting the directions re posting pics in this Sticky:

If you've been trying to add pics/images/attachments without success, then the most likely issues are that you're either not finishing the upload, attach, and insert (as a thumbnail!) process; or your source image/file is simply too large! So for the former, you need to finish the job properly; the latter, either scale it down or re-size it smaller until it will upload (see the links in posts #17 & #20 of this thread for tools to help you do that.)

When you are adding pictures or images to any post you make, regardless of the device or brand of device you may be using...

That said, it does generally take some months to sell Spyders here - after all, the majority of members already have a Spyder, so as the READ FIRST! Sticky linked in my first post mentions, you're probably going to need to be patient, and it may be worth your while to also advertise elsewhere. Just don't forget those regular posts, a pic or two, or to mark this Ad/thread SOLD once you do sell &/or no longer need the Ad.
