Hi all", Just an update on my 2010 RT Spyder gauges not working properly and Tacho not backlit,
I took out an extended warranty on my Spyder and I will use it to get my RT Speedometer Cluster replaced {Brand New} and my Analogue Fuel Gauge replaced. The guy at the Motorcycle Shop here in Australia said that the Speedometer Cluster will be replaced under the extended warranty, But BRP CanAm would not replace it. The speedometer works when it wants too, no backlit Tachometer, Fuel Gauge Bouncing and we all know that this is a common problem with the RT Spyder. I looked at a Speedometer Cluster on E-Bay and I was shocked to see that they cost around $1000.00 AU, so I am glad I took out extended warranty.
The shop will replace the whole Speedometer Unit and Fuel Gauge
