• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2015 RT vs 2014 RT Observation

Not looking to start a long winded thread just something I found interesting this past weekend.

Took a '15 Special Edition RT for a test ride, noted the '15 was quieter and vibrated less during the belt 'shake zone' as I call it around 3800-4200 rpm. This was as compared to mine with an aftermarket belt tensioner added.

While standing with 3 other '14 RT owners listening to the '15, they also commented how much quieter the '15 was as compared to theirs. The salesman had a '14 next to the '15, he fired it up to listen, he agreed the '14 was noticeably quieter.

Anyways just an observation.

Just came back from a GoldWing rally in Maine this weekend. There were several Spyders in attendance, and the local Can Am dealer had an Rt-S, Rt-S Special Edition and the F3 for demo rides. Several people mentioned the same thing.
I have a '14, so I didn't bother to test ride.
Seems that more and more GoldWing owners, when the time comes, go with the Spyder instead of triking their Wing. RUOUTTHERE got me interested in the Spyder at last year's rally, and I got hooked after taking a test drive.

I have a friend that rides with me that purchased a 2015 RT. Another friend and myself have 2014 RT's. There seemed to be no difference that we could determine in the sound or performance at all. The only visual difference is the difference in the spokes on the rear rim. Other than that, they are the same bike.
