• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2016 swingarm

Square stock; rather than round... maybe they did that for the mounting of the hitch that is now available... :dontknow:

SWINGARM

Hi All,

What is the difference in the 2016 swingarm from the 2015?

Mark
..I do believe there are two different types depending on which model F-3 you get.. Only the upper end models get the new RT style swingarm , so it can accommodate the standard BRP Hitch........Mike :thumbup:

That is correct. The F3T and limited get the old style swingarm and the F3 and F3S both have the same swingarm as the 2015.

New / Old....

The F3 and F3S have the round tubing swing arm that came out last year. The f3T and F3L have the rectangular tubing swing arm like the RT, ST and RS have had for many years. Its not exactly the same but all the important bits are so that the hitch design works.

Now just wait a minute; thought the F-3's ALL had longer belts. Or do they have both longer belts AND swing arms than their predecessors???

So how do you adapt the "old" square swing arm?? Must be a tad longer or they put the belt from the Rt on the "old" swing arm.
Lamont, what's the scoop please
:bowdown:

Inquiring minds want to know:ohyea::hun:

.The rear SPROKET is a LOT larger and that's why the belt needs to be longer....( and ALL f-3's are the same size ) it has nothing to do with the Swing arm type.?????....:clap:........Mike :thumbup:
