There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2018 RT speaker & amp upgrade wiring problems - need help. What color/is there a signal wire from head unit to amp?

Hello fellow riders. I own a 2018 Can-Am Spyder RT Limited SE6. I started an audio upgrade because I blew out a speaker in the rear. So I replaced my factory speakers with 5 1/4 kickers and 5 1/4 poll audios in the front. Then I decided to hook up a new amp to get cleaner sound quality. I could not find a plug and play wire harness to hook up to the factory audio wiring harness. I ended up cutting the factory wiring harness that plugged into the factory amplifier. I then hooked up the amp power, ground, and speaker wires, and now I am getting no sound out of the speakers - any suggestions? Is there a signal wire from the head unit that needs to connect to the amp, and if so, what color is it?

It is dangerous to cut into the OEM wiring harness on a Spyder. The later the model, the more gremlins it can cause. BRP has gotten very tricky with their electronics. It's gotten to be a case of "Plug & Play" or "Grieve & Pay"!
