2018 Spyder RT Limited $10,000 or offer
This Spyder is in the engine output shaft recall window for and is currently scheduled for recall work in December of ’25 timeframe, if the dealership recieves the fix kit per Can Am's promised schedule.. This price will be honored prior to the warranty work replacement of the main shaft. Note that the failure rate that triggered this recall is a 5% failure rate. If the failure does occur, it is under warranty for replacement. I'm only offering it on this forum because the price would probably generate loads of scam calls if put on normal "for sale" media forums.
We have just purchased a new Mazda Miata and I'm tight for garage space, so am very motivated to move this very nice Spyder to a new home. I'm much more motivated by space concerns than maximizing price. As an 80 year old avid motorcyclist and mechanic, I've performed all maintenance.
My wife and I have not done any touring on the trike. We used it only for local trips, mainly extended local luch dates in the San Diego mountainside near Julian, CA. Our home is in the hills west of Ramona CA, so the rides are typically around 60 miles.
If it is not sold withn 30-45 days, we plan to donate it to the local PBS organization. I've used them a couple of times for unwanted motorcycles(Honda NT700 and Moto Guzzi V7 clone) and the donation is easily initiated here in SD and worked well.
So here'tis...
