1,- US Gallon is a bit smaller than UK(imperial) gallon
2,- still 40mpg is bs, we all know that
3,- Spyder got a nice review, what makes you so happy by picking on a such a thing? 10mpg?
4,- you seemly have all your problems solved over in US when you must be smart with England
5,- it must feel really good when gift miniatures of USA's signature LIBERTY STATUE sold right there are Made in China - what a pride! - you got what you asked for, hopefully it is enough to stop you thinking that you are better than everyone else!

....sorry folks, I just had to my say, comments like that just get my blood boiling

Not to start a pissing contest, but I frequently get 40+ MPG on the highway with my 08GS which makes me pretty happy considering what others get.:yes:

The imperial gallon is 20% bigger then the US gallon. So at 34 mpg with the US gallon equals 40 mpg imperial gallon.

good article - nice review .. I like England - OK they ryde on the otherside of the road - (hopefully not if they come to the rest of europe ..)
last week the "ALPEN-TOURER" magazin did a 4-page report about a guy and his girl who changed after 30 years from a BMW-RS to a spyder
