A First for Me

SWMBO and I took the Spyders for a spin today. As we were coming home, I turned into the subdivision and a beautiful black Bronco turned in right behind me (he was coming from the opposite direction). SWMBO, in turn, turned in behind him. He followed me home:yikes: and parked out front and as SWMBO arrived, he walked up the drive. "I saw you motorcycle (I corrected him politely, Spyder) and just had to ask what is it, who makes it, etc., etc., etc.. Spent twenty minutes in our own driveway schooling him on Spyders.:2thumbs:

Haven't been followed home. But edjumacating people about the Spyder happens all the time. Parking lots. Stopping for gas, stopping to go to the bathroom !!!!! LOL!!!!

Had a couple follow me to a shopping center, so they could look and talk. But one time while at a red light the lady behind me got out of her car and ran up to me and patted me on the back and gave the :thumbup:.

Yesterday

A car slowly pulled up next to my right side at a light. I finally looked over and 4 old guys,( well actually younger than I, but they were still old) were all taking pics out of a 4 door pickup of my Spyder. Everything went well until the driver took his foot off the brake and ran into the guy in front of him. Being the nice guy I am, I let out the clutch and drove off. The cop who showed up probably had 8 :yikes:different stories about what happened, he didn't need mine; besides that, I was hungry.

I think most of us have gotten kind of used to the "rock star" stuff at gas stations and so forth. This guy followed them to their HOUSE. Since 2008, I've had that happen once, and was in a serious "ready state" when he pulled in my driveway. Turned out all he wanted was info. How many others has this happened to?

Yep, used to grocery store, gas stations, etc. Our Ace Hardware guy even came out to the parking lot to look at them. He and his wife have an RV and are thinking of a Spyder for their toad.
