• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

After Last Night's Debate...

It might have been entertaining; but I'm at the point where it'd be nice to forego all of the entertainment, and get down to discussing policies and plans.

Unfortunately the media control the debates and discussions of policies and plans is boring. Boring don't bring no eyeballs! :gaah:

just my opinion

We're so far in the hole we gotta look up to see down. Any policy talk would be just that...TALK.

Until someone actually gets in and DOES SOMETHING - their words to win....are just that. Words to win.

Just saying

I hear a lot of complaints about how the debates have gone in this election year, abut the arguing, the name calling, and the division between the candidates.
We all want a candidate who is level headed, cool tempered, respectful, and a leader. Every election year we let the media talk up the person they want non stop, putting that person in the forefront of everyone's minds, and then wonder why the people voted him in.
Just like normal, the media has made the person that can give them the most ratings, by saying the most outrages things, and by talking about that person non stop, they in affect will get him voted in, again picking our candidate.

I have no problem with the debates getting a little heated, that is just human nature, when you are attacked, you respond. If you doubt that, just look at some of the comments that take place back and forth on this site, and we have time to stop and think about how we respond, the candidates do not. If they took the time to think everything through in detail during a debate, they would appear to come across as slow and unwise. Look at Ben Carson, an extremely bright man, a wonderful human being, but never performed will in the debates because he was too thoughtful.

I just don't know if I can take another 8 months of this!:banghead:

the old saying goes well with politics, IF YOU CAN'T DAZZLE THEM WITH FINESSE, BAFFLE THEM WITH BULL S###. i really feel one person can do well with getting jobs back to the country, but doesn't know when to stop talking about himself. one is too much of a child, one lies, and one is too full of himself, then one has no idea where the money will come from to pay for free school and health care, and one has more skeletons in her closet then a Halloween supply store.

What we need is the perfect candidate. But then it's unlikely anyone would vote for them.

People will continue to vote their pocket book. Then be shocked when that person implements policy that helps their own pocket book.

Sadly...

We are becoming very entertaining to the rest of the world. It really looks like we are imploding...:yikes: It's like a Jerry Springer show...:banghead: but that sell papers and ups ratings. Can only  that after the nit picking they will get down to business....jmo

"Zero Tolerance- NO Political Post. Keep it clean and no personal attacks. Any profanity, sexual content or personal attacks or threats will be removed and the user may lose their privilege to use this site."

How could this possibly be considered "political"?
:dontknow: :banghead:

It's not... :D
It's just about the questionable tactics being used in a spirited campaign...

...But they're NOT being used against the opposing party!

Hope someone here follows the Golden State Warriors??

The "sour grapes" cheap shots are running rampant.

One current candidate, and two "has been" nominees seem to be the biggest purveyors of the vinegar.

Yes, they are making us the laughing stock of the world.

The "frontrunners" should take a hint from the governor, when he said in reply to a "loaded" question--"I wont bite on that." Good for you Governor K.
