After Market Passenger Backrest

I'm looking at (2) 2013's. One is a ST-S and a ST. I will need a passenger backrest. Is there any good after market backrest? I looked at BRP, a bit pricey. How are Spyders accepted at bike events?

The above options may suit. Another is the smoothspyder backrest (seller is on this forum) which is brilliant in that it goes from passenger to rider backrest with the flick of a couple of levers.

Smoothspyder a sponsor on the home page. His will flip and be the drivers back rest when solo or passengers when double up. Well made and no tools required to make the switch...:thumbup:

Online it looks like the Utopia's option is only for the driver's backrest unless they have to be contacted directly? I too have been looking for a reasonable passenger backrest option and have only found the oem or smoothspyder for my RS-S (both $450+)

Looks to be the RoadKrome Max backrests which were discontinued, the price is right so i ordered one to try out

all of these are so expensive for a backrest, not like a lot of engineering went into them, but gotta have one if you have a passenger. I posted on a nice one i had that was around 150-175 cant remember. It was actually more comfortable that the Corbin one i have on there now but wouldnt fit with the corbin seat. search backrest you should find it.
