Any Easy way Stop my Brakes from Squeaking?

What's an easy way to stop my brakes from squeaking?

I know the pads are good - at least 70% left on them and just had a service and had them checked.

2020 RT and only has about 6k miles on it.

Put an anti squeal paste on the back of your pads. I got mine from NAPA.

Many will say it doesn't work but it worked for me. Power wash the dust out of the calipers and ride it to dry them out and brake hard several times doing it. May need to do it twice. That's the easy way. The hard way is taking the pads out and applying anti-squeal like mentioned above.

When you had the service, did they glance at the brakes and say "no worries 70% left."

Or actually inspect the caliper, dismantle and give it a service, ie. clean out all the crap, old dust, lube the pucks and pins, ensure the pucks are free and retracting. Ya get what I'm on about?

Or getting an old toothbrush to work with some brake cleaner. Add several ounces of... shock, horror, elbow grease!

:agree: However WET braking not advisable :lecturef_smilie: Each their own taking pads off & scrubbing not hard or overly time consuming. Learning more about your vehicle alway helpful. Careful with torque putting back together. :2thumbs:

Cleaning, paste the backsides, file a small bevel on the leading points of the pads, and when all else fails, turn your radio up a click!!!:2thumbs:

The backing plate gel is usually a better way to go. But best to do during brake pad changes while you're already disassembled.

But for easy, you can't beat this. Results vary. But this works most of the time. CRC, Permatex and others make a similar product.
