Anyone had any luck using a Non-OEM Trailer for a 2020 RT Limited?

I'm narrowing in on a couple of 2020 RT Limited's that I am looking at - a Red RT and a Chalk White RT. What I am wondering now is if anyone has had luck with non-OEM trailers, or if that is even advisable?

Are you asking about a pull behind motorcycle trailer? I have a Lumina that I pull with my 2020 RTL and first pulled it with my 2016 F3L. You don’t have to have a Can Am trailer or hitch.

I have two trailers, neither are BRP. One is a small cargo trailer that weights about 70kg empty, and I normally add about 40-50 kg of gear. I also have a motorcycle camper that is significantly heavier. The Spyder pulls both easily, the only difference towing either makes is an increase in fuel consumption. By keeping the speed a little lower, I can minimise the difference.

I have two non eom trailers that pull beautifully behind my spyder. One is the last of the Harbor Freight small utility trailers, and the second is Lees-ure Lite camp trailer.

Pull the Timeout camper trailer no problems.

I have had my Kozy Kamp cargo trailer through 2 Goldwings, a Royal Star Venture, my 2014 Spyder RT, and now my 2022 Spyder RTL. Never an issue. Pulls great behind the Spyder.

I also have an Aluma trailer that I pull my Spyder on when needed. Forest fire evacuation was the last time, and the time before that was to the repair shop for a new rear tire. Great trailers.

Seeing that BRP don't make any trailers big enough to put a Spyder on and tow behind anything else, but that they DO make trailers to pull behind a Spyder...

I think the question is about trailers that a Spyder will tow, and not about trailers to tow the Spyder on.

I got it. I'm just say'n there seems to be a lot of folks on this site need'n trailers to haul their Spyders for one reason or another. I prefer to ride my Spyder, but there are times...
