• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My wife and I live in Carrollton and I'm looking to ride with someone. I bought my F3 for Christmas and haven't run across another rider in the dallas area. I've rode 3000 miles and seen only two spyders going the opposite direction on highways far from home. Funny thing is i tried riding with 3 motorcycle groups and they aren't very friendly to trikes. Anyone local?
Mike

I live in the McKinney/Princeton area. Have you ever rode up to a place in Westminster called Big Slicks..? We ride up there every now and then for a sandwich and iced tea.

Up just north of Dallas you can pick up 455 and go from Lake Ray Roberts east all the way to Ladonia on awesome 2 lane twisty black top. We are in Melissa and ride those roads all the time. Up to Sherman, out to Paris, it seems endless. The wife and I are on F3Ts. We have been meaning to hit Celina's BBQ that supposedly was the number 2 restaurant in the country on Yelp.. Lucy's on the square is a good Celina spot too.

We have tried Lucy’s in Celina and must agree that you can get an awesome breakfast there too..! We go to church at First Melissa and when the weather allows we ryde ..! We should try to coordinate a ryde sometime!

Mike, I live in north Dallas near Arapaho Rd and Preston. Just got my Sypder RT a few days ago and still learning the ropes. If you want to go ride some weekend let me know.

just returned from the dallas fort worth region , was hoping to see a few spyders , dang place has gotten so big , did not see any spyders at all , well the weather wasn`t the greatest , cloudy and 53 with that crazy wind chill ... hope you folks get a few more days to ride soon , I hear it is raining now , your winter has set in :roflblack:

Looking to resurrect this thread! I purchased a new Spyder recently and looking for people to ride with. I’m in McKinney but am willing to meet people around North Dallas.

C’mon peeps! ;)

Yessir. N Dallas/Richardson/Plano area here. My GF and I love to find a destination (usually winery) and take the long way to it most weekends. Look us up!
