• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone received their 2022 Spyder or news on Delivery, Delays, & Omissions?

Keep in mind that when these dealers are telling you this that they are trying to make a sell or to keep a customer happy. Very few will be completely honest with you. Maybe they are right as BRP should be producing Spyders now.

Of course. If the deal comes together, I will be trading in a rare, pristine RT that I am quite content with. Most dealerships in FL are anticipating Spyders in late March and April. BUT...that can all change based on a bunch of things like logistics snags, regulatory nonsense, labor strikes, weather, accidents, terrorism, acts of war, and the ever-present "act of God." Gotta :read: the fine print. And I didn't pre-pay for one. I put a small, 100% refundable deposit on it to hold my place at the head of the line for a particular color/trim package. In the meantime, I ride the RT. No brainer.

Here in AZ stopped in dealer just to window shop and ask about our F3T. Ordered in Sep 21 and now are being told Mid April.. so another 2 weeks added on again!

Just came from my dealer. They too have received word on a 3.28 date. Ordering it around Labor Day, I knew it would be a spring delivery.

They said they have now received all their sled orders for the season and believe the changeover in Laval has occurred. Since we still have snow on the ground (and probably more to come) to accompany all the road salt, the end of March, first of April will be good timing.

Now I can tentatively update the buyer of my 2014, as he is chomping at the bit just like I am!

Hi folks, similar to others on this thread, I just heard from my dealer that my ship date has been updated to April 11 (2 additional weeks). He told me that a number of his orders were pushed out to May, but mine was an early September pre-order and it (and others) now have the April date. He said he feels comfortable with that date as it is 6 weeks beyond the first date they gave us.

I am fortunate as my 2014 RT is running fine and on the road for early spring riding... it's next owner is ready for her to be in his hands, however! :-)

Order date: September 13, 2021
First ship date: February 28
Second ship date: March 28
Current Ship date: April 11

Having worked in manufacturing in a different lifetime I do have some sympathy for them having to changeover, and since there are a few updates between 2021 and 2022, all their ducks need to be in a row to get things in rhythm.

I hope all your orders will be on the move soon, too.

Bob

And from the "good ol days"...

When I ordered my 2008 GS, the first one sold to a customer in AK, I put a $500 deposit down in October 2007. Bought it sight unseen, and no test rides. It arrived in June of 2008. Eight months for those counting.

Seven Spyders and 12 years later, I am still in the game, but somewhere between third base and home now.

I ordered my RTL in October with an anticipated delivery of late February to early March. I got a call Saturday telling me it had been moved to April 14th. He told me not to hold my breathe. I am not holding my breathe.

Just talked with salesman yesterday and my end of the month do date has now moved to may 5th on there shipment of F3's and RT's

Hello all,
I ordered an F3SS in late Oct with a promise month of Apr. In December I was at the dealer and asked if I could take delivery sooner and the CSM looked it up and said March looked good, I said great. Halfway through March I called and was told March 28, Ok fine. Couple days ago I see this thread which prompted me to write direct to BRP and ask so first I get a reply saying we don't know then mysteriously a text message the next day from the dealer with a new ship date of Apr 22. Now I just wrote BRP a longer love letter spelling out how not knowing causes customers to lose faith... So we will see...

I place an order for a Spyder RT Limited back in earl October and yesterday I did call to my dealer and he said March 11.

Given that today is the 29th of March (well, at least it is here in Oz - but I guess you lot'll catch up eventually... :roflblack: ) did the dealer really say March??!? Did they mean March 2023?? :yikes: Or was that meant to be 11 April THIS year?? :dontknow:

I got tired of seeing Can-Am posting ads on Facebook, so I messaged them yesterday and asked if instead of posting more ads if they could provide us information on what's happening with the 2022s that were preordered. Still waiting to hear back...

I just finished my first ride on a Spyder here in Edmonton - a pre-season demo ride. I know now that I want the RTL and will likely go back to the dealer to make the purchase. My salesman told me to expect the ride to come in May/June.

HUZZAH!!!!! Bought an RTL Today!!!

Howdy all, as mentioned in another post I did a test ride yesterday (4 April) on a demo 2022 RTL. Although I wasn't optimistic the ride would replace much of the euphoria I always got on 2 wheels, the trip was awesome!!!

Today I went back and took the plunge, confirming the purchase of an RTL in deep marsala metallic that I had on hold. The salesman told me it is scheduled to leave the factory around 15 May but we all know the delivery problems BRP is having. He couldn't tell me at this time if it would arrive complete or if some parts would follow for dealer install.

Of course now, to quote Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, "the waiting is the hardest part." However, I can probably fill some of the time buying "essential" add-ons and farkles (LOL).

BTW, I changed my signature just prior to this post to say as it shows now. I checked a previous post from 25 March, wherein my signature says I bought a 22 RTL on 5 April.
