There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
Anyone used this Lift for Spyder Storage? Any feedback on it?

It would definitely have to be anchored to something substantial top and bottom! I would love to see a side view to see what those vertical poles are made of. I just looked them up, the outfit is out of Canada, they don't really give to a good view of the lift from the side, but they say it attaches to your studs! I think I would be opening up the wall and installing a beam in the wall and making sure the top was fully attached to something very strong so that it wouldn't tip out! They did have some neat floor units also!!I'd be curious as to the requirements for attachment to the wall, and even more so the requirements for the wall itself.

Are the walls of your garage tall enough to accomplish this, that is to also park a truck under the Spyder while the lift is in the "up" position? And do you have the room to place the Spyder in this position for storing it (ie. placing the Spyder parallel to the wall) especially since the Spyder doesn't turn extra sharply. Something else to think of is this: Does this lift go high enough so that your head won't make contract with anything if/when walking near it?

The Engineer in me is having a heart attack just looking at the products on their website. Both 2000lb models say coming soon in 2022, so are they even available?
