• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

August 17th 6:30 PM ET for BRP Can Am and Sea Doo 2027 lineup event

Some things changed and some stay the same, as always! New color like it or not, it is individual choice. Sea to Sky also gets luggage like they did in 2021, TPM on the display. As always price keeps going up. Maybe they will keep including the annoying alternator chirp after several miles of use. Had that on my 2023 Sea To Sky in the first year I bought it. Had it fixed and the chirp is now back again. I hope the 27's have better luck.

So here's the "new" Ryker, with an undertuned 900cc instead of the 600cc (which didn't make much sense)... It surely doesn't look new to me, more of an arguable facelift... Personally not a big fan of those kermit like headlights they are spreading all across the lineup... The previous headlights kind of gave it character, the same happen for the F3 when they switched it back in 2024.

For the rest it's the usual old bucket of paint... Grey for the RT and F3 and beige for the Canyon... and that's it!

It seems the focus is on off‑road vehicles (a new model every six months over the next four years), and the three‑wheel division is clearly not a priority, especially since it has no real competition… We’ll just keep getting whatever BRP decides to sell us, at whatever price they feel like.

Enzo Ferrari was once asked why a Ferrari didn't have a radio and his reply was it was for driving.

I agree with Peter 100%. All the electronic crap is just BS and BS at the speed of light is still BS.
And I agree with both of you!! Everything we drive today knows more about driving than we do, with this safety thing and that, it's all tied together and wants to take the wheel out of your hands, and money out of our pockets. I feel your pain!

At least I wasn't disappointed, since I didn't expect much of a change anyway. Nothing there to even tempt me to consider a new one. Just makes me more satisfied with my 2021 RTL and 2016 F3L. I can't really say too much though. BMW teased the K1600 community with an 1800cc straight 6 to only say that it would not be making it into production. Since BMW is getting rid of the 6 cyl engines in their cars, it is only a matter of time before the 1600 goes. Especially since the new Boxer 1300 is making 145 hp now.

For me it was a nothingburger.

2027 Spyder Sea to Sky got some Luggage, TPMS added to tires, New Black Wheels, New Seat and New Color. (The seat is the only interesting thing for me).

RT and RTL got nothing

F3 got a new color.

Cayon Red Rock got a New Color.

Cayon XT and Cayon got nothing.

F3T and F3L got nothing.

Some Rykers got New Wheels, Panels, New Engine, New Suspension and New 5-inch digital screen. (The 600 Ryker is now gone).

I see their lead Engineer is retiring and I wish him well. BRP will be making some changes to some of their product lines every six months. So maybe we will see something in March?

Add me to the disappointed list. Where's the Electric Spyder, the shaft drive, the bigger engine? I strongly suspect that the TPMS will be able to be added to any 2024 and later model, just like the backup camera. The real question there is, will it be an external system like the FOBO, or an internal one like a car with the sensors on the inside of the wheel? I still wouldn't retire my good old gauge for a TPMS system. Even though the rear wheel is a PITA to get a gauge on.

I can say that I'm really not disappointed. I was expecting an Ryker Limited Edition to come out at some point. I also don't believe it is a one time thing. That's the same type of language they used for the Sea to Sky and they have been shipping since 1st introduced.

The off road vehicles are an interesting market segment to me. I considered going after a Defender, but the top of the line model is priced as a street legal automobile. I'm sure I can justify spending those $'s for 1, but it wouldn't be wise on my part! LOL

My Spyder is still holding strong, no payments, and I enjoy it just as much if not more than when I first got it. So, I think I'll let my pennies sit for a while longer, unless for some reason I have an impulsive moment.

I got confused with the Ryker. Replacing the 600 twin with a 900 triple making it the same as other Rykers.
BUT it only puts out 52 HP compared to the 82HP of the others.
Not sure on the looks, I will wait until I see one.
Some changes to the steering, someone said a steering damper.
On the plus side, all sorts of new luggage options that people have been asking for.
Wonder if they will fit older models?
Just my 2 cent's
