The local tire shop put Liquid Tire Balance in my Michelin Hydroedge. Works great.
As I remember it that is the brand name. I'm sure there are other brands of basically the same stuff. It's the one the tire shop uses in truck and heavy duty pickup tires so it's not your everyday retail item like Ride-on.Exactly what kind of liquid tire balance or is that the brand name?

How many ounces?

Wow, only 3 oz? That is a lot less than the lead tape weight on my rear tire. I would have guessed it was going to be 5-6 oz because the tire is so big. I use these on all of my other bikes.
Thanks for the post of the weight. Do you know what weight you had on the bike before (lead tape weight)?

I think the tire guys hate Ride on because of the mess. The small ceramic beads are not an issue and can be reused if you do your own work. I have heard of people using BB's.

I just had a new tire put on at town fair tire, they said it is the slime that is bad, they actually scooped out my Ride-on and put it in my new tire and they found a 1/4 20 screw in the tire just the threads no top. I had 16,000 on the tire, worn evenly but a little more in the middle.
