BEll Half Helmet

Just purchased a new helmet. It is a Bell Pit Boss it is really nice comfortable and light weight. It is made out of a tri composite carbon Kevlar and fiberglass. Has a built in drop down eye shield. Also a zip out ear and neck liner. For anybody interested in a half helmet this is one of the nicest at a good price.

I've been interested in them, but, unfortunately, I've never found a Bell helmet that fit me right.

i have a 1/2 Kevlar helmet and i love it, very light weight and comfortable. but not for this weather

Yes that is it. Pic doesn't show zip in ear and neck liner. The liner has pockets for communication systems.

Back in the day Seer made the same style helmet for police motorcycle officers. When I started riding we used the 3/4 helmet which had the ear / hearing protection. A Sgt who rode using the 1/2 had hearing loss due to the wind noise. Now I'm sure the exposure time was much greater than the average rider, but something to think about.

My wife and I both have a pit boss we use when it's hot out. Great helmet. Rev Zilla has a good video of the helmet for those interested.
