• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Guy's it's time to replace the battery on the 2010 RT, I watched the replacement videos, some great, some not so much but all helpful. but the big question is what the best economical battery for the RT?

And what's the difference between the ytx24hl and the ytx24hl-bs?

Get another Yuasa. I am guessing you are replacing an original battery that lasted 6 years. It served you well.

The difference between the YTX24HL and the YTX24HL-BS is the BS extension means that the battery is bottle filled at the point of sale and not at the factory. Properly filling and preparing the battery needs to be done correctly or it will leak and fail early. So buy the factory filled if you are not sure about the skills of the folks you buying from.

Have to agree...

Have dealt with motorcycle batteries for years and have never found any better than the yuasa. Get the factory filled oem from where ever cheapest...

I suggest Li Ion

Last year I replaced the battery on my BMW R1200GS with a Battery Tender Lithium Ion Phosphate Battery. I loved the reduced size, weight, power, and 4 battery terminals as I used two of the terminals for the starter connection and the other two for accessories I'd added. I'm guessing there is an appropriate one for your Spyder.
