• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Yes, and Larry you beat me to it. That will have to be the first stop on the "Great BBQ Tour of Michigan" after we all get back from Durango. We'll look for a gathering some time in mid to late July, if that sounds good to everyone.
 
Knew we'd draw some comments from the Texans...but I wouldn't dispute the claim that Texas does some fantastic BBQ's.....We're going to defer to Dan's scoring here in our local 3 state area..We need to identiy where the next journey for BBQ is gonna be...

hey when you go to this place find out where the cooks are from and don't be surprised if they are from texas.or have a connection to a texan on how to master the bbq
 
A follow up article in the paper said that the owner of the BBS Joint (it's nickname) trained as an apprentice in Texas when he first opened his business...Bragging rights?......:thumbup:
