• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Best wire connectors for LED lights?

Posi-taps

While I like Posi-Taps for certain stuff, typically here in the tropics with humidity and rain, water gets into the Posi-Tap causing corrosion. Overtime the corrosion messes with the electrical circuit and often corrosion wicks up the wires length. They are quick and easy though.

Like Anne said, Posi-Taps. To combat the humidity, I put a dab of silicon sealer on the ends where the wire goes into the Posi-Tap.

Downside of most silicone sealants is they contain acid that adds to the issues. Maybe consider non acid silicone sealant or silicone dielectric compound. Regardless, glad to read it works for you without issues.

Looking for the best connector for LED lights.
Thanks

All good points above, but I have to ask: are these decorative LEDs or high-power LEDs, like driving lights?

The need for weather protection still exists, but I might use different connectors, based on light type and location.
