• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Big Blank White screen

There has been a change in page design. That's probably what is causing it. Look at the top of this page and compare it to this snapshot I took from a page I retrieved from the Wayback Machine for Jan 9, 2016.

Has anyone else noticed that new "Stat Box" on the right-hand side of the first page of each thread?
It gives the totals of the "Thanks & Likes" accumulated by the thread being viewed.
I wonder adding that is what upset the applecart? :dontknow:

I have a problem but it might be me not doing something right. I have been on spyder lovers site for 5 years and unable to post a thread. I have no problem replying to any thread but cannot post my own. Even my computer geek could not figure it out. Can anybody help What am I doing wrong or not doing.

Near the top left of the screen, click on "Forum"
Scroll down the screen and pick a forum you want your new thread to be in. Click on that forum name.
Near the top left of the screen there will be a red button, "+ Post New Thread". Click on that.
There you go, new thread.:yes::yes:

What all threads are showing blank pages? Lamont is busy and doesn't have time to hunt them down. He wants links. Post them here and I'll send them to him. Thanks.

Lamont's response:

Not sure what to tell you. :dontknow:

So now we know that he knows about the problem.

Bob, maybe it was time to start a new joke thread anyway. The original one is awfully long!
