• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brake light question

Hi All,

Just installed a triple play unit on our bike and it came with LED to replace the turn signal lights to use them as run, brake and turn signals. Now the rear brake lights are not LED and are not as bright as the turn signal LED ones, is there a LED bulb that can be put into the stock brake housing or do we have to buy the LED brake kit from custom dynamics. It'd be a whole lot cheaper to just be able to buy LED bulbs for the stock brake lights.,, but don't know if its possible.

Any info ?

Thanks for any info !

I would say buy the ones that are tried N True from CD. The :f_spider: is Finicky when it comes to lights but WDIK!!!!

Thanks. I was just asking since replacing the bulbs in the stock ones would be a lot cheaper if t is possible ( not a closed unit) since custom dynamic ones are 224.00 ...

LEDs will not work in the brake lights unless they have load compensators. The Spyder will think the bulbs are burned out and go into limp mode. A number of owners have had the load compensated LEDs fail after a while. The cheaper they are, the sooner they seem to fail.
