• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I am going to receive my SE5 Spyder that I ordered in April soon I was told buy my dealer.Question is the 1" riser worth putting on ? Does it help with a better ride ?
Please advise if I should do.
Also how are the stock headlights ? HID lights neccessary ? Advice on spending for these MODS.

Good day

We have the 1" riser. Makes it very comfortable for me, and my wife is satisfied, but I think she would like the aftermarket risers or bars better. She still sits quite far forward, but seems to prefer that position. It would bend my knees too much. You can add shorter risers after the BRP riser, but that money is then wasted. How did the Spyder at the dealer feel to you? Sit on on holding the bars, then double your fists and rest them on top of the bars. That will give you an idea of the difference.

I am very satisfied with the headlights, but we do leave the foglights on all the time. The HIDs are certainly brighter, and Everyone who has installed them has raved about them. Ask dltang or bjt. Also available cheaper from No Magic Neon. I'd wait and do the aftermarket thing if I wanted them, but you can't really finance them that way.

We also have the foglights, and love them. Very visible to others, and they light up close in front, where headlights are lacking. Worked well in the mist and rain last week at night. They are probably cheaper to install at the time the Spyder is prepped. Check with your dealer.

Thanks so much for your answers to my questions. I already purchased fog lights on Ebay a new set for $250.00 a good deal.Installing all MODs myself.I am interested in the 7" handlebars from Kewlmetal that a member has installed because I have a Zumo 550 GPS with a handlebar mount, do not know if I can install on the stock BRP handlebars ? Kewlmetal bars has a mount for the GPS, cup holder etc. see the PROBLEMS of spending MONEY with new TOYS, that I do not have yet.
Good day
