• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Call from little Bro...

bruiser

New member
He got hit yesterday on his two wheeler. He's got some bruises, a cracked rib and abrasions. Seems a women in a mini van went left before making a right and hit him. She left the scene . His bike is scrapped up. No major damage. I think he said he was sitting at a light. His wife bought him the bike back in June, he just started back riding again.

:gaah: Another hit and run! :gaah:
Glad that he's pretty much okay!
I hope that they find her and prosecute to the fullest extent that the law allows...

Sad news..!!

Hate to hear things like this. Hope he heals fast and the damages are not much..all our best to him...!!

Best wishes for your brother's speedy recovery. I hate sitting stopped waiting for lights. That is the one place where ABS, PS, or anything else Nanny can help you with, will not help you. If you are stopped, you have no defensive driving ability at all. You are just hanging out there waiting to be hit. I had much rather be on the move and possibly be able to steer out of harms way. Been riding bikes (mostly two wheelers) for almost 50 years now and have never been hit (thank God), but my closest calls have been when I was sitting still with others taking a shot at me. Just saying...
