There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Can-Am dealers not hungry?

Deanna -

I have no idea, but I'm thinking it won't be anytime soon, as much as I'm curious about the Canyon and would love to see one in person.

I checked the dealer websites around here, and there are plenty of 2023's available (mostly Rykers), and about ten 2024's.
Racoon,

I just checked with the Can Am Dealership that I use, and they have the following 2024's: 6 x Rykers; 3 x RT'S; 4 x F3'S.

They also have 1 x 2025 S2S Purple in coming in Jan-Feb timeframe, which is brand new with just 1 Mile on it. In the description, it says 'In Stock'.

OK.

NEVER SAY YOU HAVE CASH. Talk to them and say you may finance some of it. The dealers make money on the loans, so they know they will not make any extra on the sale. Get your best deal and when you go to sign the papers tell them then you have CASH.

Hello all,

I contacted two dealers (one in-state and one out of state). No need to mention the dealer names; my intent is not to make anyone look bad. One dealer I have purchased a new bike from before so they know I have green money. I told both I was interested in a 2024 or 2025 Spyder RT STS. Spoke with one on the phone and one over text. One provided a quote after 1.5 weeks. One said they will work on a quote and get back to me ASAP. I offered a trade to the first and they were going to give me a value. I don't need to trade to make the purchase.

Both dealers have ghosted me. It seems in the dead of winter, a Can-Am dealer would want to sell a $30k unit. This does not bode well for after sales support. Should a customer be more aggressive or should the dealer have a higher sense of
There are four 2025's in stock at the dealership where I bought my 23 F3 SE; there are 3 RT Limited's and one is an RT Sea to Sky.

I have been looking around Cycletrader for a left over 2024 F3 Limited Special and for the most part the dealers are sitting on the high side of pricing even on the non Special models. When you do find a price that you are interested in then they low ball you on your trade. I'm thinking that the tariff talks has got some dealers thinking that the supply chain may get interesting down the road and therefore makes what they have more valuable to them.

Dealerships are no longer like the dealerships of the 50s, 60s, and 70s, when they handled 1 or maybe 2 brands and had factory trained mechanics with extensive experience in the brands they sold. The current dealerships handle many brands, up to 10 or 15, as well as used bikes from other lesser known brands. The huge dealerships have Asian, European, and American models in the showroom. Many of them also have a huge stock of off road and trail vehicles, such as side by sides, trail, and hunting vehicles. They are trying to do everything, and are doing none of it well. They are too spread out and have few mechanics with extensive experience on any one brand. They cannot stock a good supply of parts for all those different brands and parts are a choke point in the service and repairs. Money is the bottom line, and the customer service is not stressed as much as sales. It will remain that way as long as the Indepandant Shops in local towns are not licensed, trained, or allowed to provide factory approved service.

Much like Big Oil, or Big Pharma, you could call it Big Scooters...

There are still small family run dealerships around. I purchased my F3 Limited from one. They have experienced mechanics and are a servicing dealer. They do work on older bikes and Spyders and usually have 1 or 2 vintage bikes in the showroom that they are working on restoring for a customer. They may be a bit more expensive, but they have taken great care of me and my Spyder. I am sad to see the small local family run dealerships fade away. They sell BRP and Honda. I would encourage folks to support these local family dealerships, because in my experience they do a great job of customer service and have a passion for riding, even if they are a bit more expensive.

It really comes back to the money. As much as we'd like to disparage this aspect. If you're not making money, you might as well go home.

The Spyder is a low volume, difficult to work on machine. Most mechanics don't like it. We've got a certified Spyder tech here in town that quit the dealership and opened his own motorcycle repair shop because he didn't want to work on Spyders anymore. If he gets a Spyder, he sends it to us.

On the other hand, there are shops like ours where pretty much all we do is Spyders all day long, every day. Our guys have gotten very good at working on them and they enjoy it. We do take other things in, including side by sides, ATV's, 2-Wheelers, and even an occasional lawn mower, golf cart, or autos and trucks when it's slow during the winter months.

A good dealership is worth supporting. If you find one, do all you can to keep them in business. And let them know you appreciate the service.

It is possible the some of the 2025 models have not yet reached the dealers. When I bought the new 2019, it did not get to the dealer until April of that year. They tried to sell me anything in the store when I went down there to look around, but I knew which model I wanted and would not buy any other. I gave them a binder on it and waited.

Bought my 2024 S2S a few weeks ago from Sierra Cycles in Sierra Vista, AZ. Guess it largely depends upon how far one is willing to travel. It was only 300 miles from me. They have one more 2024 S2S and about 5 2025 S2S's. They shoot straight. Check out their website. I beat the brush from the East Coast to the West Coast telephonically and visited a few dealerships to find a deal.
