• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Changing a Headlamp

Can someone tell me how to change a headlamp in a 2008 Spyder RS 990cc?

Pop off the small plastic panel on top of the dash (it just snaps in) Then use a small screwdriver to push down in the 2 square holes on top of the gauge cluster to release a catch on each one. Tilt the top of the gauge and remove. Reach down in to whichever side is burnt out and take off the rubber dust cap. Spin bulb counterclockwise 1/4 turn

Yep its that easy. My wife was riding mine after I had shoulder surgery last year and a headlight went out and she did it with no problem.

Have to agree..!!

:agree: there are other than stock bulbs with better lighting so if your there you might go for better bulbs at lower price...!!

I purchased some PIAA lightbulbs for replacements and they weren't worth the money. You cannot tell the difference between the light output/color of the stock Can-am ones vs my high dollar ones. I'm back on a mission of putting HID lights in with a new (better) angle :2thumbs:
