• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cold weather pants

I had to go snow blow my driveway this morning. The snow is pretty deep and it is 0 degrees with a wind chill of about -12. So I decided to wear my First Gear cold weather pants with the liner. My circumference to height ratio is a bit backwards so the pants are a bit long. Nothing a pair of Air Force suspenders can't help. My legs were very comfortable. 4 layers on my upper body and two layers on my head. I am on my second warm up break. Taking it easy today. These pants are great. Can't wait till spring!!!!!

Good to know..!!

though I prefer the thought that those are my spyder ryding clothes, it's good to know they work well in other venues...hope this is the last break for you...!!:thumbup:

If those pants work that well; perhaps a Spyder ride at minus 40 could break out! :D
(Seth's already been out at -51... :bowdown:))

We all know that already... :D
I've been rated up near the top of the "Crazy Meter" more than a few times; he's off the charts!

I use my first gear coveralls , when I use my snowblower . Light and keeps me warm ! Great product ! No layering , just blue jeans and a long sleeve shirt (:

The first gear heavy stuff with liners is good for cold weather. Always use them for cold weather riding--but I also have a pair of lined Carhart bibs that I use for cold weather, outside stuff. They are made for this type of weather and even surpass the first gear in this application. IMO--of course.

Maybe

I would maybe try it, bit I don't think my wife would want me to (read that as not letting me do it). Besides there is too much salt and too much black ice around. Thanks.
