Color change by replacing all panels.... cost!

This is what I did today when I was bored and couldn't ride. Looked up all the painted panels to see what it would cost to change the color of my spyder to something different. I'm not going to do this but was curious about the cost,... it's a lot!! Total for all the painted panels for a 2013 RTS is $5314.76

Plastic Body Panels

It used to be that we all thought of plastic as a cheap replacement for steel panels on our vehicles. Not anymore!! Entire front and rear molded plastic fascias of automobiles have been around for a number of years now and replacement is very expensive. Also crotch rockets and Gold Wings are covered in plastic bodywork and all of this is expensive to replace so it's really no surprise that a Can Am Spyder (particularly the RT models) would be very costly to re-skin. It's a lot cheaper to get one repainted in another color than to re-skin it.

check when I bought mine 2012 I look was around 6000. then ask a custom skin a spyder web was 800.00 but will rub off in time. the asked about buying other color panels that's add up but is the cheap way to go. but if find someone what do trade the panel might easy way to go. so what color is your bike mine red......
