Comfort of the 2014 Spyder RT Limited

The comfort on our 2014 is a big enhancement from the 2013! The drivers seat is great for long rides or short! The passenger seat is good for sitting back and enjoying the view!

For me the 2012 seat is too hard, so I feel like I am riding on top of the bike. The 2014 is softer, so I feel like I am part of the bike. The 2012 seat has a curve, while the 2014 is flat.

I just got back from 2,200 miles in the saddle of the 2014 Limited and I still feel that it is a bit too soft. I'm pretty sure though that the RTS seat will be much better. :roflblack:

My limiting factor on rides is butt comfort, the new seat on the 2014 seems like a theropedic mattress. It contours to the geography of your tailbone. Like jell-0 on springs.

It is a bit funny. When I got my 2010 RS I thought the seat was fine, and then I took a long ride and had to get a comfort seat. I thought that the comfort seat was fine until I took a long ride on that seat. I then bought the 2012 RT, and felt that seat was great, and even after a 553 mile round trip. Then I got the 2014, sat on that seat, was amazed at the comfort, and after two weeks on the 2014 sat on a 2012, and said that the 2012 is too hard. Goes to show that no seat is good enough.

I feel like the 2014 Two Tone Seat on the RTS has more CUSH for my TUSH. (not quite as hard as previous seats) :thumbup:
