• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Completed the onerous chore - added air to the rear tire!

I use the FOBO2 Bike system on my 2021 RT, and I am really glad that I can check my tire pressures just by looking at the app on my phone. This is especially true for the rear tire. Well, after sitting in my garage unused since November, other than a brief ride on March 1st, I was ready to go for a real ride yesterday at temps locally got up into the 50's and the roads were dry. But the TPMS showed that tire pressures were a bit low, so it was time to both change the batteries in the TPMS sensors and add a bit of air pressure. The front two tires are simple, but for an old guy like me, with bad shoulders and artificial knees, getting to the back tire is a real pain. I backed the Spyder out onto level ground, lay flat on the ground and luckily the tire stem was right where i wanted it to be, and without too much effort I was able to put a new battery in the sensor and hook up the air compressor to get the pressure to where I want it to be. Now I am set for the next few months of riding, and likely will not have to go through this until well into the summer months.

FWIW, I bought this RT in June 2021, and have since put about 9,000 miles. Other than getting an oil change at 3,000 miles I have not had reason to go to the dealership at all. I have not had even the slightest problem with this motorcycle and wonder if I am just lucky or are the doomsayers who complain about the Spyder's reliability all wrong. In any event, adding air to the back tire has been the only hassle that I can think of regarding the Spyder. Even my trusty Goldwing needed more attention. I really am glad I chose a Spyder rather than converting my Goldwing to a trike.

As much as I complain about BRP and MY 2022 RT-L, they're a really well-built machine & I see myself putting well over a 100K on this Machine I call SLEDGE... God willing.

Vito, I struggle with that too, but I have found a solution that works for me, especially if you own a low stool, and a fairly level surface.

Switch on the RT, release park brake, move it forward or back until the valve is at around 4 o’clock, reapply park brake and switch off. It is then not too difficult to get one hand each side of the FOBO unit and unscrew it (you may even be able to do it with one hand). I then screw on my pump (set to a pre determined psi) the same way and pump up the tyre, and reinstall FOBO. Sure you have to chase the FOBO unit across the floor once or twice when you first try it, but it becomes easy after that.
I actually use a rolling low mechanics chair to release the brake and roll the RT into position, but I’m 6’7” and 300lbs so that gives me enough leverage to make that fairly easy.;)

I know that these posts are a bit dated, but does anyone know how to get hold of the FOBO2 for trike software (or is it just that we download FOBO2 from the play store)? The FOBO2 site does not appear to be functional. I've been on the forum which seems to contain about 6 posts in total, and the product site itself does not offer anything but sales advertising and email contact (no telephone support). I sent them an email on 4/26/25 and have had no reply. I guess the other question it leads to is - is this company even in business? Should I consider dumping these sensors and looking for something else ? *I had a phone get run over and completely destroyed. Tries to 'smart switch' all my data which failed miserably so i need to 're-build' the phone environment on the new device.

You haven't experienced any fun yet. Just wait until you tackle the installation of a sway bar.
Especially if you opt for a higher value bar than the "upgrades" sold in spyder shops! You have to measure and bore the holes where you want them. Even with a template, it's an actual job getting it set correctly!

A Google search for "fobo2 software download" shows links to the Google Play website and to the Apple Apps website, so the answer to your question is yes.

The Fobo 2 site works for me:

Going to the site, yes. But if I select "forgot password" when logging in, it sends me to the same public site (ads for various FOBO products) but no links to download software. Play store has FOBO2 app (not specifically marked as 'trike'). I don't know if this version would recognize a trike vs a two-wheeler since I cannot sign in to the app and selecting 'forgot password' sends an email link to my email id, but that link only goes back to the sales site...

My guess is that the account is linked across everything they do, so the forgot password takes you back to the "main" site, where I assume the password reset link is. So reset your password there.

Then try to login again the way you were.

On the FOBO BIKE 2 for Trike webpage it shows the cost of buying the set of three sensors.

On that page it shows pictures of the app, which shows it tracking the pressure on a Spyder or Riker (aka reverse trike). Looking at the FOBO Bike 2 app in the app store on my iPhone, it shows information about setting up for 2 wheel bikes, 4 wheel quads, 3 wheel (sidecars), and even for a 2 wheel trailer.

So I downloaded the FOBO BIKE 2 app to my iPhone. I logged into using my Gmail account (or you could create an account specific to FOBO).
While working through the steps of Profile Creation in the Vehicle Selection step it shows 13 options, including:

Motorbike - which shows a picture of a standard 2 wheel motorcycle.
Bicycle - a picture of a standard 2 wheel bicycle.
Trike - a picture of a "standard" trike with 2 wheels in the back and 1 wheel in the front
Reversed Trike - a picture of a Spyder or Riker
Bike with sidecar - 2 versions, with either a left or right side sidecar
Quad bike - 4 wheels
Trailer - 2 wheels
Trailer - 4 wheels
Trike + AirShock - I guess you can add a 4th FOBO to a rear wheel airshock?
Unicycle - one wheel
Bike with AirShock - 2 wheel motorcycle with rear wheel airshock?

So I gave it information for my Spyder. Once I added everything it showed a screen with the Reversed Trike image in the center of a grid of four boxes. The top 2 boxes, and the box in the lower left all said "N'INST" which turns out to mean Not Installed.

Since I don't have FOBO sensors, I am assuming that you then go through the process of pairing each sensor and they start reporting the information to the app on your phone via Bluetooth.
