Congrats Denver.

Yep, defense won that game. I think that may be the last game for Manning.

Mixed emotions. ..

Happy for the Bronco fans..:yes:sad for all the Panthers fans..:banghead::banghead: but we had a great day either way...:ohyea::ohyea:

Not what I expected. But liked the outcome.

:agree: I think the Panthers thought that they would just roll over Denver like they did to the other teams they played in the post season.
As someone once said "That's why you play the game"

Offense wins games...

Defense wins Championships!

For the tenth time in twelve games; that adage has been proven right!

:congrats: to Denver! :firstplace:

happy to see peyton go out this way, even though he didn't win the game for Denver, the defense did for sure. cam thought he had it all wrapped up and got so flustered after the first ten minutes of the game, that he just couldn't get his act together. not to mention how much of a wuss he was when he should have dove on his fumble, but laid back. way to go Denver!!!

WELL, it showed that newton does not have a lot of class.. and it obviously showed..

Just my 2 cents but the Fly Over was the best part of the game. The officiating was a total joke.

And for every dissatisfied Panther's fan; there's going to be a happy Broncos fan...
The catch/non-catch was pretty darn close: the Missus and I argued over it LONG after the matter had been settled in the booth.
(She's a devout Manning fan, and thought it was a catch; I am a fan as well, and thought that it was a drop)

Congratulations to Denver. Their defence was fantastic and won the game for them. They did to the Panthers what they did to the Patriots. Peyton did just enough but you can see that he should end his career on a high note. I don't think he has what it takes to keep playing. He has nothing left to prove.

The officiating sucked, especially in the first half. I hate it when the officiating overshadows the game. I wonder if the league officials had a word with the crew at half time. The catch/non catch could have gone either way.

All season I was unimpressed (read pissed) with Cam Newton's over the top celebrations and posturing. Struck me as class less and was pulling hard for Denver to kick his butt, so was happy with the result. His display on the field when he was getting hit, looking like he was tired and sore, showed he has a lot to learn. The really good QB's show a never give up perseverance when they are getting beat. Throwing himself on the ground like a child having a tantrum looked pretty poor. Compare him to the likes of Aaron Rodgers and Russel Wilson, Big Ben etc. when they were taking a beating at times this year and they showed their class and toughness. He showed none and his behavior at the press conference showed him in an even poorer light.

To be a good winner you have to learn to be a good looser and Cam needs to learn that. Maybe this will help him grow up. He has tons of talent but needs to learn humility.
