• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Went for a ride today, hot & humid, like riding in a sauna. Temp gauge went from 1 to 6 bars in a block. Back to the house...catch tank is empty, coolant dripping on floor. Hopefully can patch tank tomorrow, got to pressure test to find the leak. Heading to MI Friday for a charity ryde. I hope.

Our RS overheated as we were boarding the ferry to cross Lake Michigan last Friday. The problem was a bad relay kept the fan from going on. This is PE #238 and according to an engineer from BRP they used dielectric (sp?) grease on something that when hot is wicking into the relays and causing them to short. He said this only happens on the really early bikes #600 or less.

John...where's the charity ride you're doing in Michigan this weekend? Larry
Starts just outside of Clarkston, Saturday, breakfast at 8, probably start the ride around 9. I'm working from memory here, PM me if you're interested, there are going to be some other things going on, too.
I may not be able to ride in it, the coolant tank is split, and unless one from a SeaDoo will fit, my Spyder is staying home.
