• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just thought I would let everybody know about my Dealer, Louis Powersports in Greenville, TX. The salesman Tommy Cowley has call me 3 times in a month to see how I am enjoying my new RT and to make sure everything is alright. In most cases I would have been satisfied with 1 call, pleased with 2 but, 3 is exceptional IMHO. I am scheduled for my 1st service visit next Saturday and I only hope I get the same great feeling about the service department. They also have the best prices I could find of the 3 dealerships I know about in my area, so if your are in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and looking for a new Spyder this is the place to end up.

Oh oh..!!

But its a good oh oh..love it when a dealer out does himself and delivers the service we expect. Congrats to them and to you...hang on to them..

Agree fully!

My salesman was Curtis but the service and price were the best. I drove over 300 miles to get there but I saved thousands compared to the local dealers in San Antonio and Austin area. They will beat any price (by yards) and it takes like 30 minutes to drive away.:) A+ in my book. I hate those three hour marathons in the showroom waiting for the paperwork getting done and final checks and such.

I bought mine from Curtis also... over the phone! Then on the same call, I handed over the phone to a friend who also bought one. Then later we drove together about 550 miles to pick them up. Curtis and everyone else there treated us great, and the whole experience was very gratifying. They saved us considerable bucks too, over any other prices we could find. And Curtis also made follow-up calls to touch base with us. Nice!

Thumbs UP to Louis Power Sports in Greenville.

Update after Service

Went in for the first service today and my opinion of this dealer ship has only been moved in the positive direction. Danny the service manager and Waco the tech are awsome, Waco was very informative and patient with all my questions, and explained in detail all that was done during the service. In fact everyone at this Dealership is very friendly and wanted to help me while I was waiting, almost to the point of annoyance, but I would much rather have it that way than to be ignored. Even though they are not the closest dealership to where I live, they have my business. Thanks Guys!

We also bought our Spyder RT Limited at Louis Powersports along with my best friend George who also bought one identical to mine. We are heading back this Saturday the 13th to have our first service done.. Can you tell us about how much to expect to pay for the service? Would like to be prepared before we go so my wife's eyes don't fly out of their sockets!!! lol

Love the spyder..

I paid $269.50 but it wasn't at Louis. My bill was 160 for the labor and the rest was the supplies, so figure 2 hours labor charge plus the oil-change kit. Yours might vary, my dealer said 2 hours labor, but it took more like 2.5 and they only charged for 2. I'm really liking my dealer too, F & T Valley Powersports in Pharr, TX.

Cost of service

I paid $257.91 for my service, which I thought was reasonable, and it took about 2 hours. Take a book:D

Thx. That's about what we expected. Whew. Expensive toy we bought but worth every penny!

Your welcome. Here is something else to consider, It took more time and more gas to get home than it did to get there, and for some strange reason the mileage was differen too.:roflblack:

That's really odd because yesterday I told my wife I was gonna take a short ride around the lake and would be back in about an hour.. Took me 3 and 1/2 hours to get around that darn thing.. I just don't get it... :)
