• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Daylight Saving Time - Make sure to adjust your Spyder clocks - Spring Ahead!

Since today is DST, Spring Ahead make sure to adjust the time on your SPYDER clocks.
T.P.
Being in your climate area, I always leave it as is. Pretty much done riding in early November (before falling back) and not again till late March (after springing ahead), if we're lucky :)

I put a piece of black tape over mine. Can't see it anyway, with the face shield on, and it won't stay adjusted. It losees a couple minutes a day. If I didn't adjust it about every two weeks, it would be yesterday.

My computers, phone, and smart watch all adjusted themselves.

I haven't check my Spyder or Honda yet to see if they have changed.

Look on about page 30 of the Operator's Guide...

Not the Shop Manual... the Operator's Guide book that should have been with the Spyder from the dealer.

Setting Clock
Using MENU button, Select CLOCK
and hold to change time.
Press the LOWER button to select the
information to be modified.
When selected, hold the LOWER but-
ton to enter in the modification mode.
Press LOWER button until the new
value is displayed.
Wait 2-3 second to accept the change.

The buttons are on the handlebars. Don't even try to adjust that dang thing while riding.

I just counted and I have 7 clocks in my house counting my wrist watch. Because we don't observe DST here in Arizona, all is good... Except for one stupid clock in my bathroom! It always tries to out-think the world and automatically adjusts for DST all by itself. It does not have a DST delete setting. So twice each year I have to change the time zone setting for that smart-ass clock. One of these days - POW! Right to the garbage dump...

I just checked my 2024 Spyder, and it shows the date as: April 8, 2021.

I as so surprised I didn't even look at the time.
I'm guessing it reset when I replaced the battery I killed.

Just checked my clock after being on a battery tender for 4 months. It's on the correct time :)

I just went out, took my Spyder off the battery tender, turned the key on and set the date and time.
Turned the key off and removed the key. Waited for it to completely shut down, and then inserted the key and turned the key on.
The correct time was showing, so I navigated into the settings and it still had the correct date.

Now I'm planning to go for a ride in the morning, as just sitting on the bike made me want to get some wind therapy.
