• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We will be going to the rally. So many hotels to pick from. If you are going, please post where you are staying? Need space for truck and trailer to park. Lamont, hopefully you will give your input. Is there one hotel where Spyder's are staying? Host hotel? :helpsmilie: Tom :spyder:

Hi
I stayed at the Travel Lodge the last 2 years and am staying there again this year. They have a covered ramp for parking bikes, truck and trailer parking in the back.
There are a lot of places to stay and have heard nothing bad about any of them.

We stayed at the Deadwood Mountain Grand last year....appreciated the covered parking, clean modern rooms. Proximity to downtown was close......had to ride to fairgrounds. Parking might be challenging with a truck and trailer.

Call Teresas 605-717-7174 she’s the host at First Gaming Cold.
The travel Lodge is next to First Gold. If I remember right First Gaming Gold all rooms are above the casino main floor

3rd year, staying at the travel lodge. It is a very nice place to stay and had good covered parking. Also across the street from the fairgrounds.

Wife has found that some hotels are charging extra just to park! Now that's B.S.. Leaning toward the Comfort Inn and Suites. I will mention the Travel Lodge to her to look at. Tom :spyder:

Wife got us into the Travel Lodge. All registered. Looking forward to meeting new faces, and riding the area. :ohyea: Tom :spyder:

Good to see you got your spot. There is overflow parking at the fairgrounds and it's secured. Places to stay downtown, but parking my be a problem, or have to pay for it.

I registered today. Will be arriving Monday mid morning.
Will be tent camping at the KOA in Spearfish.
There is room for a couple of tents to share the space.
The space should have electricity and water.
PM me. David C.

If you want the bargain spot it is Black Hills inn Hotel and Suites in Deadwood. Small place just on the outskirts of Deadwood. Small rooms but clean and plenty of room for trailers. I have been staying there for years when I go out that way. Trolly from Deadwood runs right to the door.
