• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Debating a water bottle setup on my '22 RT-L - any pics, suggestions?

Could I get some suggestions and maybe pictures of your water bottle setup on your 2020 and up RT Limited. Also, where did you get yours and roughly how much did it cost? I would appreciate all the pictures and suggestions/info.

I'll be following this thread 'cause I haven't found a way to mount a water bottle holder that works for me. Have tried 3 times, and all proved unsatisfactory. Maybe someone has gone the extra mile to find a workable location.
I have a modular helmet and like to hydrate while riding, thus the desire for a drink holder. Now I'm using a 30 oz Yeti bottle in the top case and hydrate at pit stops along the ride....works fine.
I have no photos.

We keep a little cooler in the back trunk, filled with ice and drinks. Your butt needs a break and that's a good time to move and get some water!:dontknow:

This one self-adjusts to the size of the container. Found it at Can Am Spyder Accessories.com

Durable, and it works great!

I use this thermos bottle. I can open it up with my left hand, take a couple of sips, and close the lid with one hand. I bought it many years ago, but I believe the unit was from Wally world.

These people, also in St. George, make the system shown by BfromLA: https://www.motojug.com/

I bought mine several years ago (2019) and it has held up well. I did get mould in the tube after neglecting to clean it after a Trip. I called them and they shipped me a new hose and bite valve right away. Cost was minimal. I use the Artic Trails SS 1 gallon jug from Walmart. I have had it keep ice for 2 days. If you go to their showcase, the Brown Spyder is mine with the Moto Jug mounted. It comes with a 6ft hose and bite valve. If I put in an 8ft hose I could put it in in the frunk or trunk.

I didn't like having my drink on my handlebars, so I decided on this... https://www.rykerrydes.com/product-page/insulated-hydration-tank-bag.

I put it on the passenger seat and strap it down to the passenger hand grips. Then I attach the nozzle, which has a clip, to my belt. The thing holds like a gallon of liquid, and with a little ice, keeps it cold for a long time. It's currently $30 more than what I paid for it, but the wife and I both have them, and we both like them. Yes, a little pricey but well worth the money in my opinion, especially if you're going on long trips and want to minimize your stops.

I held off on posting a reply, since our Spyder is less new than yours.

Not an inexpensive option, and not even sure the manufacturer offers the setup for newer machines.
Ours is a Butler holder and additional cup parts from Glassact.

For us, we do not run their black plastic cup. Instead we opted to upgrade to a Tervis insulated cup setup. Butler does sell the option, minus the cup itself. We went with brushed stainless cup, that has a blue laser engraved USA flag on it.

FWIW, the Tervis cup, we add ice and water typically. Can not recall once where the water got warm or ice melted before we were refilling after a couple hours riding in the SoFlo heat.

The website has photos, not saying this is for everyone, but it does work well for us, and was easily worth the price of admission.

I’ve used the “Butler Mug” on two Goldwing’s and now on my 2023 Spyder. Works for me.

This makes really good sense, especially if you wear a full face mask.

My wife uses the handlebar holder from Lamonster which accommodates her stainless-steel cup with lid and SS straw. She just bends over at traffic stops and takes a sip... easy peasy! Oh, the cup is an insulated one, so no issue in the Georgia heat. She adds a bit of ice, then fills it up with water or Snapple. :-)
