• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for recommendations for custom seat. Is the ultimate seat the best? Can the dealer install a seat for me if I do not buy one from the can am spyder catalog?

Does everyone who has custom seat have back rest for rider and driver as well?

In general just looking for some suggestions on custom seats?

Also what grips does everyone recommend?

I have a airhawk seat put in mine.

what are you looking to get out of grips? the Kayriakin grips are good if you do not have small hands and need a handbrake like I do.

I upgraded to the comfort seat and like it so far. Dose not come with backrest but the extra padding is nice. I did the install my self & was easy. My local dealer gave me 25% or more discount on it

Grips

I have the Kuryakyn ISO Grips, and they are great. The factory grips were too small for me, and were prone to hand fatigue.

Do you have an RS or RT?

I had a Corbin on both my RS and RT - with the Lamonster cut, it's perfect.

Seats are VERY individual - go to a gathering and try to sit on as many as you can - that's the only real way to answer that question.

I had Kury ISO grips on my RS & loved them. Unfortunately, those don't work with the RT's heated grips, so I used Grip Puppies to add some girth to the grips.
