gene, if you take the cover off i'd think you'd get a lot of dings and chips on the spyder from stuff getting kicked up from the road by the rv! just saying !!!:thumbup:I would suggest two things....Remove the cover, will damage the finish on the spyder and remove the windshield which can also be damaged especially the support system. Otherwise works :thumbup:

I agree with you about airflow. I followed this rig for about 10 miles and never saw the cover flapping.I am not saying you are wrong but an RV will create a large pocket close behind it with little to no air movement. I think the Spyder will be just fine that close behind.
You're right, but not enough to bother a motorhome or probably even a full size SUV. I think it's a great idea. The one the guy built and is selling on eBay is especially nice. :thumbup:. I'd buy that one on eBay, if I lived in Texas and could easily pick it up.Lot of tongue weight going on there!
